Duties of Physical Scientist II :
The incumbent will work under the direction of Research Scientists in the Ocean Modeling and Analysis Section (OMOA) at the Bedford Institute of Oceanography. The officeholder will support and drive the sea display and observational information of the sea and help with the improvement of new sea models and information analysis procedures.
The incumbent will be answerable to give logical information, information, data, examination, guidance, and suggestions to researchers and chiefs inside the Department and other outer associations, including the overall public.
- Basic knowledge of physical oceanography
- Knowledge of basic techniques of oceanographics data analysis
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Experience in managing microwave remote sensing data
