The treasury board of Canada secretariat is executive unit of TBS. Its duty is to support the TBS as a ministers committee. In 2017 it launched another institute as partner namely Canadian digital services for the development of country.

The officer will analyze the reports data and convert them into initiatives for transparency at Canadian digital services. It will provide an effective addition in training and content.

Skills:

  • Experience in government or private sector as a manager in relevant field.
  • Skills to documents all recommendations and activities.
  • Ability to handle the lower management.
  • Experience of Planning, reporting, performance and technology development.
  • Skills to work under pressure.

The treasury board secretariat help ministers in administration and management of federal government of Canada. It oversees the operational activities of government and work as the employer of public service.

A secretary level civil servant leads the board and reports to the president of the Treasury board. Its headquarter is situated in Ottawa.

The TBCS analyze and makes directions for the ministers that how to spend money on government services. It also oversees that how tax money are used for the improvement of public interests.
