The library of parliament is a research and information center for the Canadian parliament members and staff. Its central office is in Ontario in parliament buildings. The library is a non-partisan agency and doesn’t support any political party. It is looking for the paid internship programs applicants. Candidates fulfilling the required criteria are welcome to apply.

Required skills and experiences:

  • Basic knowledge of Canadian politics and parliament system
  • Knowledge of legislative programs
  • Ideas to strength the parliament system
  • Management skills

The Library is focused on making and keeping a diverse workforce to work and live. All certified competitors are urged to apply. To help business value and variety in the work environment, preference will be given to qualified competitors who self-announce as Indigenous, people with disabilities or member of minorities.

The incumbent should work in branches of the Parliamentary Information and Research Service. The Service furnishes parliamentarians with news, reference, examination and investigation benefits and is liable for government funded schooling, effort and guest administrations for the Parliament of Canada.

The selection procedure consists of the Application process (complete application form), Test, and Interview. Selected candidates will go through training.

Note * It is a governmental department, so they get all benefits like pension, medical allowance, etc.
