The tenth circuit courts are state-owned departments of the United States. It plays an important and vital role in the development and progress of the country through a fair justice system. Currently, it is hiring for a law clerk to federal circuit judge. Both males and females are encouraged to apply for this job.

Duties of Law clerk:

The incumbent’s duties may include meeting with Clerk’s Office staff and judges and directing law researches. The law clerk’s responsibility is to get the ready legal memo and draft proposed decisions and attend meetings (some restricted travel might be required). The incumbent is answerable for the following:

  • Editing, proofreading, and refer to checking sites;
  • Performing complex movement work;
  • Giving analysis and investigation of an issue important to the court:
  • Performing agenda quality control;
  • Answering requests from the general population and gathering data and different obligations as allocated:

The United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit is a state-owned federal court reviewing trial courts’ decisions. These trial courts are the following.

  • District of Mexico
  • District of Kansas and Colorado
  • Eastern, western and northern dist of Oklahoma
  • Dist of Utah and Wyoming

Initially, in 1929, these were part of the eighth circuit. The court is situated in Denver, Colorado, and consists of twelve active judges.

There are a total of thirteen courts of appeals in the United States. It is among these thirteen courts and covers one-seventh of the U.S. landmass. In 1929 the court was established to share the caseload in federal courts.

Chief justice suggests a proposal to reorganize the circuit structure in 1928. The American Bar Association committee described this plan in 1925.

The house of Representatives thinks about two different plans to divide the eighth circuit. This plan would separate eastern estates from western as well as northern estates from southern.

After that, Congress passed a resolution that selected Minnesota, South and North Dakota, Iowa, Arkansas, and Nebraska for the eighth circuit.

Circuit chief judges are responsible for the administration of their circuit. The term of chief judge is seven years. It might be extended if no other member would qualify for this position.

The selection procedure consists of the Application process (complete application form), Test, and Interview. Selected candidates will go through training.
