Duties of judicial assistant:
A judicial assistant provide services as a manager operations and maintenance for chambers staff. A judicial assistant is responsible for the hiring of law clerks, organizing of files, documents and case management system.
The incumbent supervises office matters including office management, data collection for court and arrangement of travels itineraries for judges.

The United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit is state owned federal court that has power to review the decision of trail courts. These trail courts are following
- District of Mexico
- District of Kansas and Colorado
- Eastern, western and northern dist of Oklahoma
- Dist of Utah and Wyoming
Initially in 1929, these were part of eighth circuit. The court is situated in Denver, Colorado and consist of twelve active judges.
There are total thirteen courts of appeals in united states. It is among these thirteen courts and cover one seventh of U.S. land mass. In 1929 the court was established to divide the caseload in federal courts.
Chief justice suggests a proposal to reorganize circuit structure in 1928. This plan was described by the American Bar Association committee in 1925.
